Royal
The theme for this year’s Jr. High Gathering is “Royal” based on 1 Peter 1:9 “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light”. Who am I? This is a constant question that we try to answer throughout life. We look to our parents, teachers, mentors, friends, church and the latest Instagram or Tic Tok post for answers. We try hard to be what everyone wants us to be and yet can feel like we are not enough.
At this gathering we want to provide an engaging and safe environment to question who we are by first looking at Whose we are? God brings us into his royal family through the death and resurrection of Jesus. We are free to discover who we are because of who Christ is. The gathering will explore this in all aspects of the gathering including main sessions, service projects, interactives and more.
As our committee continues to plan and carry out preparations for the gathering, we continue to pray for each of you, your ministry, and your youth. We pray for the Lord's infinite wisdom as we strive to provide a Junior High DYG that will bring adults and Junior High students to a deeper connection with our Savior.

Speaker
Annie loves Jesus, coffee, English toffee, and her incredible boyfriend, Tim. Annie has been serving as a Director of Christian Education in Children, Student and Family Ministry for the last 13 years, and is currently serving Christ’s Greenfield Lutheran Church and School in Gilbert Arizona. Annie is a talented singer and artist who loves to praise Jesus with her voice and put God’s Word to canvas in her spare time. Her favorite part of ministry is when she gets to hear stories of how Jesus has been real and present with students and families. Our God is a God of miracles and He still does miraculous works in the lives of His people today, we often just don’t open our eyes to really SEE him at work! She is super honored and excited to speak with you about how Jesus created you, chose you, loves you, redeems you and claims you as a part of His ROYAL family.

Please follow the below instructions to complete BOTH the online and paper registration process.
1) Complete the participant form and participant covenant for all youth and adult attendees. Please make two copies of these forms. You will give one copy to our registrar on the day of the event and you will keep one copy for your records.
2) Complete the online registration process to input your church information and participant numbers.
3) Pay online through the above registration link or by check to the address below. Please note, your group is not officially registered until you have paid in full.

Late Registration: $90 by February 7, 2020
Cancellation: A $40 charge per person will be retained for cancellations made before February 7, 2020.
NO refunds will be issued as of February 7, 2020.

Service Project
We are excited to be working with Kids Around the World to pack food for distribution to those in need globally. Through the generosity of Christ Lutheran Church in La Mesa, youth attending the Jr. High DYG will be able to make a difference in the lives of many, many children.
